Don’t Fly Solo
Product Marketing / Art Direction / Concept / Campaign / Production
Tinder was expanding their brand positioning to be leveraged as a travel app. To push this use case, I worked with their in-house team to develop a product marketing campaign focused on swiping around the world.
I was heavily involved from pre to post production; informing everything from art direction and music production to type, color, sound design and overall graphic treatments for the product UI integration.
We created a piece that pushed the boundaries to position Tinder as a social discovery platform. The product was stylistically integrated into the video via deconstructed UI elements. The ultimate message was loud and clear: Tinder is the best place to make connections of all kinds, far and near, and everything in between.
The campaign revolved around a hero film, with multiple cutdowns optimized for both longform and shortform vertical video. The videos became Tinder’s highest performing brand campaign to date on registration/reactivation volume and return.
